Ok so... Today is National PIE Day! (no...not mine)

Ok, While I love to bake pies, I have never been a huge fan of them. I know Taylor loves Apple pie, and Rodan loves 19 year old pies...Anyways...I always just wanted a Brownie or Cake instead.

Babaloo makes a great Pumpkin Pie, and My grandma makes a rockin Pecan pie...But this is the only one I ever truly embraced. And it's the absolute simplest to make.

• 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 8 ounces cream cheese
• 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
• 1 cup confectioners' sugar
• 1 graham cracker crust, store-bought or premade

Directions

Whip cream with 1/4 cup sugar. Mix all other ingredients until smooth and fold in whipped cream until well blended. Pour mixture into a graham cracker crust and chill for several hours before serving.

Should he leave NBC, Conan O'Brien already has some job offers to consider.

The late night comedian, who joked on Monday night's show that he'd like to "work in a classier business with better people, like hard-core porn," has indeed caught the attention of one such business, reports TMZ.com.

Adult-film company Pink Visual reportedly sent O'Brien a letter offering him a position due to the current high demand for "tall, lean, pale, male 'gingers' that have a David Caruso kind of thing going on."

Their proposed title for O'Brien's first flick? "Conan the Boobarian."

The letter, obtained by TMZ, went on to say that the company "would be elated to have a personable, motivated self-starter such as yourself join our team of merry pornsters."

The offer, written by the company's brand and product manager Kim Kysar, also suggests that if O'Brien isn't interested in being on screen, he could easily go back to his roots writing jokes and "bring some much needed wit to the world of porn dialogue."

Ok, So WATCH OUT...BUENOS AIRES!!!

My first chimichurri sauce, via the Elie Kreiger book I talked about a couple of weeks ago - her recipe for Grilled Steak with Chimichurri Sauce, and her recipe for grilled multigrain bread with olive oil and rubbed with a clove of garlic. I'm thrilled with how well this turned out, and how pretty it ended up being! I added the steamed broccoli with some olive oil (a theme here for dinner, apparently), garlic salt and water, steamed in a big glass bowl for about five minutes.

And before Taffy says anything...I'm just perfecting my culinary skills before having you guys over for dinner....

and, if I did the recipe correctly and measures stuff out, this meal is around 600 calories.

Ok so...Yes I spent the day in public looking like this...

...and yes, I realize I looked like a crazy person. A happy crazy person, but crazy none-the-less.

Ok, So FINALLY, A Story I Have Been Waiting For Since High School

DC Comics announced this week they are finally releasing Games, A New Teen Titans Original Graphic Novel that has been in production limbo since the late 80s/early 90s that was written and drawn by the original TT creators, Marv Wolfman and George Perez!!
Teen Titans is by far my favorite all time comic book, and I have been sad to say that I haven't collected the most recent series for quite some time. It was easier for me to walk away from some of my favorite characters (Donna Troy) than watch the ridiculous characterizations of some writers who apparently never thought to read some of the source material. I know Wolfman hasn't been the best writer in a long time, but I'm hopeful that this will work to his benefit, as this book (120 pages!!) has the potential to feel like something I would have read down in my parent's rec room back in 1986. And George Perez is a god. Nostaligia, hurrah!

Any other comic book fans excited for this?

I am cleaning out my external hard drive (i.e. getting rid of porn to make room for new...uh, porn...) and I came across all the PiMC episodes of the past almost three years, and all the guest spots that Taffy, Rodan and I have done. I listened to an old qCast and have to publicly state how much I miss that show. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the guys in a few weeks (listen to the latest show for details), but I must say that the podcast (complete with British John) was a real delight, and a true bright spot in my week.

That's kinda taking a chance, wouldn't you say, I mean, I understand when they send e-mails out that say "Hey Jennifer," or "Bill call me ASAP" knowing there is a selection of the population that has those names and will click on the e-mail link (which I removed from this email copy for obvious reasons), but they're sending out this email on the slim chance that the people who are getting it:

1.) recently broke up with someone who, from the looks of the "Cheers!" is British,

2.) did it through email,

3.) made sucky sucky five dolla videos with said broken up Brit,
