Ok, So There Has Been A Delay

Hi everyone. 143 will be slightly delayed due to circumstances beyond our control. It has been taped, and due to some personal stuff with our little PIMC family, I was not able to get to editing. Everyone is safe and ok (now) and I have been given permission to talk about it on our next show. I will be able to edit over the next few days and hopefully get the show to you all really soon!

Ok, So For Your Consideration...

After Madmen-ing myself for fun, I thought, hey, I can use this for our new logo we talked about a while back. Add a google search for a cool retro font, an hour playing on Photoshop (I learn something new every time I go on it) and viola! The new logo for PiMC. Both Taffy and Rodan appear to approve, but we want to know what you all think as well! Love it? Hate it? Sad because our logo isn't a Taffy cock shot? (We ARE only allowed so much space for the size, and we all are aware that Mrs. H is hung like a water buffalo...) Let us know what you think!!!

Ok, So The Natives Are Getting Restless.....

Many of you have spoken to all three of us wondering when Episode 100 is coming out. I came home today to find multiple e-mails and facebook messages asking, "What the hell?" So, I figured I would just let you all know what's up....

I had severe technical issues with my track for Episode 100, and as a result, the show had to be scrapped. As a result, we will be taping a NEW show....again....in the near future. Given the more so than usual busy schedules of all three hosts, I am not sure when that will be, but it will be soon! We are not going to do a "Drink Til We're Funny" on you guys and disappear for almost a year....We are working on trying to map out a meeting time where we can tape the quality show you all deserve, and that we can all be proud of.... and yes, given the common discussion of bukakke and Taffy's vagina, I see the irony in my statement.

Until then, let's just take in the sight of what looks to be a....um, fun evening in a motel room somwhere?

Ok, So Episode 100, Much Like Rodan On Any Given Night, Is Coming....

Hey y'all! Episode 100 wouldn't be a PiMC episode without...you guessed it...."technical difficulties!" So, given schedules and stuff, we are going to try and do it early next week. So please be patient! It should be a lot of fun!

Ok, So The Best New Movie Review Blog By A Couple Of Gay Guys In St. Pete And Their Dogs Who Have Bad Gas...The Dogs, Not The Guys....

For his birthday, I promised Babaloo that he and I would start a blog together. The fruits of that labor (honk) is Pugs and Popcorn, a movie review site! We watched our first film tonight and the first post is...well, interesting. We decided that we would talk about the film via Skype IMs...while sitting in the same room. Hopefully, it feels almost like we interview each other about the movie! We're planning on doing individual posts, and the occasional YouTube video together talking about our common love of the cinema...and by cinema, I of course mean classics like Xanadu and Romancing The Stone.

Does this mean that the Latte Boy is packing up his mug and leaving PiMC? No, of course not. PiMC is, and will always be, my first priority in the blogosphere, and the place that I post silly pictures that make me laugh and stuff. So, if Babaloo sits with a popcorn bucket with a hole in the bottom of it while we're watching Episode II, it will be talked about on Pugs and Popcorn. Everything else, keep it here at PiMC!!!

Ok, So No Show This Week! (Cue Poopy Music)

Sorry, guys, but due to technical difficulties, I am not able to release Episode 87 this week.  It was a funny, dork-filled show with myself, Rodan and special guest Babaloo.  I am sorry to say that the sound quality went all wonky when I tried to edit the second half of the show.

That being said, you WILL have a Christmas show starring all three of your favorite PiMC co-hosts next week.  I know a lot of the other podcasts are taking a small break, and while we will be doing the same, PiMC will eek out one more episode for you all before Christmas.  Look for it early next week!!!

Ok, So It Is With Great Pride....

.....that I announce we have our first episode with over a 1000 downloads. Taffy's weight loss video (vPiMC: Episode 22 - Fat Free Taffy, released 4/27/08) has as of this moment had 1012 clicks on iTunes, webservers and RSS feeders all over the world. Thanks to Taffy for sharing her story with all of us (and thanks to Ramble Redhead for helping to renew interest in the video!) And thanks to all of you who watched it!

Ok, So Can You Believe We Had Technical Difficulties!?!?

Normally right now I would be editing the episode that Taffy, Rodan and I taped last night.  However, severe storms barrelled through the Tampa Bay area yesterday afternoon, and as a result knocked out both my and Taffy's internet connection.  So, I was able to get a hold of Taffy, Rodan, Nessa and Tom and ask them to reschedule for tonight, and everyone was copacetic with that (did I just spell that right?).  Anywho, hopefully there will be no snafus.  

One of our listeners, Pat from Don't Quit Your Day Job,  created an AMAZING promo/trailer that, if I had thought about it, would have released last night on its own, but instead I have incorporated it into the front of this show.  I have listened to it about ten times now, and it makes me smile every time I hear it.  Thank you, Pat!  You just gave us more proof that we have the best listeners in the podosphere!

Ok, So Still Getting Used To It.....

So, as Taffy stole my thun....I mean announced to the listeners, I got me a Mac yesterday. A pretty 20 incher! Pretty much, what I got a year ago and took back a week later. It's pretty and big and I am still dipping my toe in many of the applications. I cant believe I am saying this, but I may have to have TAFFY'S help on some of the technical stuff! I think that means the end times are near.

To be honest, this is the first that I have really been on it over the last two days. I played around with it a little right after I took it out of the box, but Babaloo was here, and he and I spent the day together, and now before I go to bed, I thought I would play around with it some more. I am not quite comfortable with the idea of recording the next show on it (yet) with Garageband, but that day is coming. And I am very much looking forward to playing with the video software and the making new cool movies for you guys.

I will say this though - I am FINALLY caught up on all my shows (save the Oprah video podcasts, but they don't count), so now I get to go through and download all of last week's shows and try to listen to them over the next few days. Just did it (as I subscribed to all your shows on the new iTunes) and I am already back up to 80. 80!!!! Thank Goodness a lot of them are 4 to 5 minute video shows, and about 10 of them are onion radio news which are, on average, about 45 seconds long.Oh, and so that I can see if it will work, here is a picture from my mother's graduation. Yes, I know it's blurry, but I just want to see how it works on the Mac.

Oh, and you KNOW that I did video of me taking the new toy out of the box.  Look for that really soon!  And, well, Taffy and I have discussed some treats for all of you as well.....

Ok, So If I Was In A Summer Blockbuster, I Would Be Green Right Now....

Episode 57 is forthcoming. We are having some issues getting Taffy's track from her. Stupid AIM. Mutter grumble mutter. Look for it either late Monday or early Tuesday.

It's another really good one, too, in my humble opinion. The last ten minutes alone....it's another Big Montana moment, but it's not just me that gets the giggles.....

The video of Taffy and her amazing weight loss has been BLOWING UP! We have had over 380 of you download it in the last 48 hours - THAT, kittens, is a new PiMC record for an episode! I know many of you have been talking about the video in your blogs and podcasts, and I want to thank you for taking the time to talk about our Miss Taffy and her accomplishment. You all rock. I am forwarding all the e-mails you send to Taffy to her, and will be playing the many voicemails we have gotten on the next episode we tape on Sunday night. And, again, look for 56 tomorrow night.

This is what podcasting is all about. The effect we ALL can have on each other by reaching out and telling our stories is a powerful thing. Thank you to Taffy for sharing her story, and just as importantly, to all of you who have shared YOUR stories with us, listeners and podcasters alike.

So, as many of you figured out, or went to some other websites, Pod Is My Copilot (and Qcast, and We're Mean, and Live It Up! and Confessions of a Southern Boy) are all doing a spin off show where we can talk all things geek and not have to worry about our current cohosts muttering "dorks dorks dorks" under their breath. www.dialhforhomo.com is a new podcast starring Michael, Eric, Wes, Walt and me, Taylor, as we talk comic books, action figures, video games and celebrate our gomo-ness! We have a promo that Michael has submitted to iTunes (that sounds awesome) and are working to get the first episode out in the next few weeks. In the meantime, however, please be sure to add the blog above for more viewing pleasure and all around merriment. Oh, and I drew the hero up on the banner above. Yay me.
