Ok, So The Best New Movie Review Blog By A Couple Of Gay Guys In St. Pete And Their Dogs Who Have Bad Gas...The Dogs, Not The Guys....

For his birthday, I promised Babaloo that he and I would start a blog together. The fruits of that labor (honk) is Pugs and Popcorn, a movie review site! We watched our first film tonight and the first post is...well, interesting. We decided that we would talk about the film via Skype IMs...while sitting in the same room. Hopefully, it feels almost like we interview each other about the movie! We're planning on doing individual posts, and the occasional YouTube video together talking about our common love of the cinema...and by cinema, I of course mean classics like Xanadu and Romancing The Stone.
Does this mean that the Latte Boy is packing up his mug and leaving PiMC? No, of course not. PiMC is, and will always be, my first priority in the blogosphere, and the place that I post silly pictures that make me laugh and stuff. So, if Babaloo sits with a popcorn bucket with a hole in the bottom of it while we're watching Episode II, it will be talked about on Pugs and Popcorn. Everything else, keep it here at PiMC!!!

Ok, So How The Hell Did We Miss This?

This little corner of the internet turned two last Thursday...it was a few weeks before Taffy and Rodan joined me on this little escapade, but the blog  was created on February 12, 2007.

Thank you to the over 80,000 of you (well, four or five of you who have each been to the site 20,000 times) who have glanced at the site, commented on it and/or become our friends.  You all rock!

Ok, So A Year And A Day Ago....

...a blog was officially born. Pod Is My Copilot (Originally to be called "Ok, So....") was created by Taylor (or as he was originally known, "Host # 1,") and was quickly joined by Taffy Carlisle Huffington and Rodan. One Thousand, Three Hundred and Forty Nine posts later, we turned a year old yesterday. 46 episodes, 16,300 requests for podcasts, and many new friends around the world later, we want to send out a thank you to all of us who gave us a shot and peek into our sick and twisted lives. You all are amazing people and we're nothing without you.

And we still have the one year anniversary of the podcast coming up in Early March!!! Leave us a birthday wish/message at 206-202-5165. We'll be putting them on our anniversary show! Be a part of the podcasting love! Rodan's had all his shots! Promise!!!

Sincerely,
The Dairy Guy, The Debutante, and The Renaissance Painter (as we were called on another podcast recently

Ok, So A Few Things.....

First of all, I hate this laptop I use for work. Or rather, I hate the Sprint Wireless Card I use. I am trying to do some work at the Carribean Cafe (no one died here or anything - I'm eating lunch and catching up on notes) and the wireless card keeps slowing me down. Or maybe it's the servers at work. I don't know.
Those of you who have been commenting may have noticed the new way we are doing it - namely, you have to type in a series of letters and your comments need to be moderated. Reason for that is we were starting to get spammed in our comments, so this should take care of that. Sorry for the extra security measures, but I would rather you all be able to share and talk to each other without having to "Come look at my webcam!" or "Have a Bigger Penis!" thrown in your face. (Not that Taffy has ever had a problem with big penises in her face, but I digress...)
Finally, Michael and Kevin are not coming to Casa Huffington as previously discussed in episode 42. We are going to meet them in Orlando for lunch and IKEA. Jealous? I thought so. :)
Oh, and Rodan is going green, or some other color. Who knows? Thanks to Michael of Qcast who notified me of the RSS problem, and it looks like there were more of you than I had thought.

That is all - go about your business, people, nothing to see here!

Ok, So Keeping You From Getting Things Done Around Your Home Or Office One Thousand Times Now...

Ladies and Gentlemen, you are looking at Pod Is My Copilot's ONE THOUSANDTH POST. There isn't a lot to say about it other than we would have stopped a LONG time ago were it not for all of you, looking at us from around the globe. We try and entertain, we try and let you know what is going on with us, if for no other reason than to help you forget your problems though laughter, even if only for a few seconds. So, on behalf of Taffy and Rodan, thank you for being faithful supporters of our little dog and pony show.

Ok, so Momwatch - the final day....

I'm sitting here in Philadelphia International Airport, waiting for my flight. Of course, the time I get here early, there is no wait at check in and NO WAIT at security (!), so I have an hour to kill before they start boarding the plane. I shall arrive home at 11:14, so I am looking at getting through the door at midnight. Off tomorrow, then back to work on Tuesday.

My time here in Philly has been boring. Nice, but boring. But this wasn't so much about a vacation as it was takin care of my mom, who I adore (as most gay men do...). I got her to do the "cry laugh" I always do when I come home and we just generally enjoyed each other's company. I hope to come back in October so we can head up to my sister's place in the Poconos in time for the leaves changing. Anyway, I have stories about the five day jaunt that I will share with you all on Episode 9.

We have some GREAT questions, and will be recording a special e-mail question episode sometime in the near future. Keep the questions coming. We can either add them to the episode, or sprinkle them in future episodes in the...well, future.

I have a full battery for my iPod and that damn iQuiz game to play, plus videos and the latest eps of bTalk, PNS, SMODcast and last week's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. Qcast and RambleRedhead, I listened to your eps while my mom was napping - good job, boys!!!

Oh, and finally (for now - I still have 50 minutes, so as things wander into my head.....) I have spoken to Mike Hipp of PodcastSoup.net and he is going to be putting reviews of our show on his site. This should bring in more folks to the show, which is now averaging 82 listeners per episode. Thank you all for our support. Should Mike add us to his site, I'll be sure to let you all know.

Oh, and FINALLY finally, we have someone in the miami area who has been checking out our site. A LOT. It is always the same IP address, and I know that when Rodan checks us out, it comes up as someplace else. So, Miami guy, let us know who you are - send us an e-mail at podismycopilot@gmail.com, and let us know who you are. And thanks for checking us out!
