So, I just wrote a long post and self esteem and self worth, and it got a little too woe is me, a little too personal, so I deleted it. So I'll just ask you all who read this: What is your drive for taking care of yourselves? What helps you to feel as though you are worth your own time and energy? I need to make some changes in my life, and any help you all could provide would be wonderful. Thanks!

Ok, So "Speaking of being healthy...."
"Don't you think you should lose some weight?"That's what was just said to me by a client who I was talking to this afternoon, a 80 something with COPD while we were talking about things he could do to stay healthy and be with his lovely wife, who he says is the reason he is still alive. "You're never going to find a girl at your size."
Ignoring the obvious, I replied, "Well, Mr.________, I have lost 40 pounds over the last few months, and am still working on it."
"Well, you're not working on it fast enough! You've still got time to find yourself a wife."
The wife of the patient gently said his first name, trying to let him know that he was being a tad rude. He looked at her, and while distracted (by her and moving his head too fast for the oxygen tube, causing him to jerk a little), I quickly changed the subject, talking about a bill he had received
Yep, I leave for Orlando in like 14 hours, where I will be surrounded by muscle guys and skinny twinks......
sigh....
When is Babaloo getting here so we can order pizza!?!
