Ok so...thought for the day
An English professor once wrote on the board "A woman without her man is nothing." and asked everyone in the class to punctuate it correctly. Every guy in the class wrote "A woman, without her man, is nothing". Every lady in the class wrote "A woman: without her, man is nothing."

I always start business letters with "Gentlemen?". It sets the proper tone for my disgust that follows in the body of the letter.
