Ok so...Are all the half ass restaurants closing?

NEW YORK (July 29) - Restaurant chains Bennigan's and Steak & Ale have filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection and stores owned by its parent company will shut their doors.
First Lonestar, Then Red Lobster, Then Long Horn, Durango's, Hops, and Steak and Ale...Now Bennigans.  What will we all do on St. Patricks Day??

The Tyrone Bennigans was dark when Babaloo and I drove past it tonight - I had just read that they were closing - I didn't realize it was going to be today! Jeesh!!!

Our choices are starting to major dwindle... Thus forcing us to eat on the beach, in Tampa, or in nicer restaurants!

The bennigans in our town has been closed for close to 6 months, but I guess thats what happens when the city shuts the water off for not paying the bill teehee. We still have our Red Lobster and a Longhorns just opened in the last 6 months near my office....we prefer the local non chain places here anyway...good bye Monte Cristo!

I worked at Bennigans for 3 years making no money but plenty of good friends. Everyone who worked there hated it, especially since there was a much more successful Chili's right next door. I cheered when I heard about it disappearing off the face of the earth.

Oh, and speaking of the Monte Cristo, you do NOT want to know the nutritional info on that puppy. Just trust me. Every time someone ordered it I wanted to scream, "Have sympathy on your arteries for the love of god!"
