Ok, So Save The Cheerleader....

So, after we taped Episode 33 (look for it in about 20 minutes), Rodan and I were talking about the Writer's Strike. I was trying to catch up on many shows that I have taped (the only ones I have to watch now are ER and Brothers and Sisters). Anyway, Rodan brought up that maybe I shouldn't try and keep up with these marathon sessions that I have been doing, because there may not be a lot of new stuff coming on the air over the next few months. I said that was a good idea, but then didn't give it much more thought.

Until I read this, from ComicBookResources.com

"Think the Hollywood conflicts can't reach into your living room and affect you? A story in TV Guide says that the December 3rd episode is getting an "alternate ending" filmed in case it has to serve as a season finale. The strike started as of midnight Monday morning, with the Writers Guild of America and all their signatories instituting a work stoppage for financial reasons."
Yikes! Looks like they'll be stretching out Deal or No Deal episodes! If that's the case, then Yay! Less TV for me to watch!!!

There is a rumor circulating that NBC fired Tim Kring (Heroes mastermind) after he refused to finalize the script for the alternate season finale before the strike started...

...of course this was before Tina Fey and the casts of 30-Rock and The Office joined the picket line.

NBC seems the least prepared for this Strike.
