Ok, So....Wow....

So, One Month ago today (on Sept. 11th), I posted about us having 5000 downloads of episodes of Pod Is My Copilot. It took us just over 6 months to get those downloads. I just posted Episode 30, and according to our stats, we are already almost at 7,000 total downloads.

That's almost 50% of the previous downloads in less than 20% of the time.

Many of our old episodes are still getting 3 or 4 new downloads a day. We are very close to averaging 200 downloads per episode (194 per show, I think). Taffy, Rodan and myself have all of YOU to thank for that. Whether you came here by word of mouth or were perusing the iTunes store for something different (see that's what you get when you put bukkake in the iTunes Store Search. I hope you're proud of yourself...), welcome. And if you were a listener, or a podcaster, or an iTunes reviewer who posted a glowing recommendation. THANK YOU! We would not have the listener base we have without all of you telling people, "Hey you may want to try these guys out...."

We are staring to get listeners from all over the world. Just this week we have two new mypace friends from Germany. GERMANY! There are people on the other side of the fucking globe that are hearing our voices, our stories, and are not only enjoying them, but are giving enough of a shit to look for us on myspace and send us a note. Not to mention talking to other podcasters, corresponding to some of you on e-mail. (I will always try and send a note back you - promise!)....it is just the coolest thing to know that the three of us (and in many ways, our friends and guest co hosts) have been welcomed into this community by all of you.
