Ok, so ehh....Part 2

So I watched the Top Chef 3:Miami tonight, and I have to say it's the poor man's pretensious Project: Runway. Like that hair show, the format is EXACTLY the same as P:R - right down to the "THOOOM!" noise when they say someone is in the bottom part of the competition. The head judge, the bald guy, looks like a cheesy mid 90's porn star.....I just wasn't very impressed - I would rather wait for Project Runway to come back into my life. Sorry, Taffy, I tried.

And what the fuck am I doing watching The Starter Wife? I'm halfway into it, and for the life of me, I have no idea why I am watching it. I love me some Debra Messing, but it's just so....dumb. It's like they took a summer read and tried to make it into a movie (yes, I know it was a book first). The problem with trying that is that summer reads are usually dumb books that are forgettable. Like this will be when it's over. It makes me miss Will and Grace (and what the hell happened to Judy Davis - I mean, I know she's never been a looker, but Jee-SUS!)

In the non ehhh department, Drum Riley Calhoun made a Giada recipie from her show today - well, a variation on the polenta and pesto chicken, but because Publix didn't have polenta mix, he made it with fettucine. Drum, it was yummy! I did not make this face at all (see right).

Glad you liked the pesto chicken! I certainly agree about Top Chef (BIG yawn!). I know Starter Wife still feels a bit slow, but there is something that makes me want to keep watching it.
