Ok, So This MUST Be Made....
Disney animator Heidi Gilbert recently put together this original animatic based on the Wicked musical in an attempt to see about having it done as an animated movie.
I can't even imagine what this would be like. It's kind of perfect, when you think about it, the idea of doing Wicked as an animated feature. Someone needs to grab the rights to do this NOW!

Apparently the rights were snatched up years ago, and most recently I read the plans are for a mini-series that closely follows the book and a feature based on the musical. I'm on board for those, but--after seeing this footage--I think something animated needs to be in the mix.
