Ok, So THIS Is In Good Taste.....

Really, Nike? Using the voice of an adulterer's dead father to sell your merchandise? Disgusting.

Wait...so am I supposed to feel bad for Tiger?? Is that what they're trying to say? 'Cause it almost worked. Almost. But not quite.

So, a sport company gives a pass to an athlete who fucked some people you didn't think were appropriate.

I'm going to put you down on the "gets no sympathy" list in case you complain about people who barely know you giving you shit about where you like to put YOUR dick...

Ep,

I'm confused...care to explain your comment?

A: I generally have allergic reactions to moralistic judgments. Things like "Using admitted adulterers and their fathers to try and sell sports gear is disgusting".

B: You seem like the type of person who has probably suffered a lot of tangential (and likely direct) abuse over who you like to sleep with. The type of abuse that is justified by moralistic judgments ("People who sleep members of their own sex are disgusting.")

Thus, I sassily called out your moralistic judgment, seeing as your the type of person who probably suffered from them.

My comments were not directed so much at Tiger Woods for his adultery, but rather at the company who would choose to profit from his admittedly lascivious activities. I could care less if the Tiger Woods cheated on his taxes, if that was the big reveal over the last few months, and Nike (or Gilette, or any of the other companies Woods has an endorsement deal with) decided to use this same pitch for a commercial, I would have the same reaction.

Now, as far as my apparent "moral judgement" goes...you HAVE listened to our show before, right? We tend to be a tad forthcoming on our opinions about things. Telling me (or most podcasters in general) to not be judgemental on their shows/blog is like asking me not to breathe or see the color green. We are all judgemental in some way...and in fact, your comment is kinda a moral judgement of my post, is it not?

Thanks for listening!

I have listened to your show, and you and the gang seem to use sex and talks of sex and lasciviousness as one of it's mains selling points.

So why are you maligning Nike for it?

If you're considering the "well, they're a big company and we're just and off the wall podcast..." argument, let me interrupt you by pointing out it's still a double standard.

And I'm not telling you not to be judgmental, I'm just expressing my opinion that given what you guys love to talk about... this judgment was downright silly to me.
gish
Thanks for chatting :D.

I think it's interesting considering it's a known fact that his dad cheated on his mom...
