Ok so...Childhood Obesity anyone?

While I was at IHOP the other day, the family sitting behind us allowed their FOUR YEAR OLD to order, and eat, the above plate of pancakes. They are called "Whoville" pancakes and (after looking them up) are a whooping 2700 calories and 56 grams of fat.

The child ate all but about 6 bites and then proceded to lay down on the booth bench.
Let's just hope that his parents were taking him to the park...or the hospital.

THAT IS APPALLING. There are not enough calories in that dish.

They could have easily gotten up to and beyond 3000 simply by adding fruit loops to the candy chips.

I just don't think that IHOP's whoville pancakes go too far enough.

I think I just went into a diabetic coma from the picture alone.

isn't it criminal to feed your kids this kind of "food"?

So, I'll admit that it's completely appalling that the kid's parents let him order such a monstrosity.

But does it make me a bad (read: fat) person that my sweet tooth wants to at least try the damn thing?

I think I just got a cavity from looking at that thing!

Those don't even look good. Ugh....gross. And shame on the parents for not putting their foot down and saying NO. And how do they know the cook in the back didn't try to see how many licks were in a Tootsie Pop? Huh?
