Ok so, Walter...

As any of you who listen to our show know, I have a thing for the father figures of the 70's and 80's. Bob Newhart, Charlie Gibson, Mister Rogers...and of course Walter Cronkite.

That voice was ledgenday, and when I was little, there were only two of three TV channels, so we always watched him. Everynight. Right before M*A*S*H and "The Brady Bunch".

You know this man was iconic...Hell Nicole Kidman did name her Dog after him in "To Die For" and one of the old Muppets in the Theatre was made in his likeness...(Taylor remembers their names, I don't) (Mortimer maybe??)

The old guys in the balcony were Statler and Waldorf, named after the famed hotels in NY!
