PiMC: Episode 95 - Vanilla Crapity Crap Crap Crap, or That Was Not A Good Sexual Evening...

Please leave us comments on the blog and let us know 1.) what your favorite CDs are, and 2.) If you like this episode!

I enjoyed this episode. I watched Watchman yesterday before this episode came out and was happy you talked about it.

Otherwise... favorite albums.

Favorite "I seem to listen to it all the goddamn time" album: DJ Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise Vol II. It's pure schmaltzy McTrance techno but it's soothing and perfect for just about everything.

Favorite "New girlpop album that I am going to whore out and then not be able to listen-to for five years" album: Lady Gaga, The Fame. Before this it was Fergie's Dutchess. Before that it was Madonna's Music. I am sure I am mental-blocking some of the other ones.

Favorite "post-breakup/relationstrife, let me just cry already so I can move on with my day" Album: Annie Lennox, Bare. Speaks for itself.

Favorite "I hear a song from this on my playlist and I squeak like new shoes on linoleum with transcendental bliss" Album: Salt-n-Pepa, The hits remixed (or any Salt-n-Pepa album really). Followed very closely by Beastie-Boys' "Hello Nasty" or anything by FannyPack.

That is my list. Hope you enjoyed it.

Damn, I can't do the album thing.. I'm a music whore and my favorites change all the time.. HOWEVER ...at the moment my top five are:

*No Line on the Horizon- u2
*All I Ever Wanted- Kelly Clarkson
*The Fame- Lady Gaga
*any cd by gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello
and anything by Evanescence.

Loved the geekdom in this episode, and the "crack-cast" moment with Rodan in the beginning.

This was tough, but here I go:

Hall & Oats - Greatest Hits
Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill
Michael Buble' - It's Time
Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
Rascal Flatts - Feels Like Today

and Taffy, I'm disappionted this was not on your list...

Robert Plant - Now and Zen

My two favorite soundtracks are from the movies "American Graffiti" and "Pride". The "Pride" CD is amazing...

Yeah she did - she even mentioned you when talking about it!

And is the Pride soundtrack the one about the movie about the swimmers in the 70s?

Now and Zen was my second pick out of my top five.
I even commented that we are the only two people who owned it.

I have been thinking about this all day long. In no particular order...

Nirvana - Unplugged in New York
Garbage - Beautiful Garbage
Jimmy Eat World - Clarity
Rilo Kiley - More Adventurous
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes

My 6-10

Arcade Fire - Funeral
Dresden Dolls - Yes, Virginia
Queen - Jazz
Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing
Pixies - Doolittle

UGH! This is hard! My soundtrack would also be Moulin Rouge! Loves it!

My bad. So sorry...

I must have missed the part of the podcast when there was discussion of Now and Zen...

And I guess this is what I get for trying to work and listen to the podcast at the same time. 'Pride' is actually 'Prime'.

I'll stop trying to comment while at work. Apparently, I can't multi-task as well as I thought I could...
