

In a new effort to curb childhood obesity, an organization called Active Life is creating new ad campaigns using popular toys like Barbie and Superman and, well, making them fat. The tagline for the campaign is "Keep obesity away from your child." The hope, according to Active Life, is that the ads will encourage kids to get off the couch and exercise.

While I like to think this will be an effective marketing campaign, I think ultimately it is up to the parents of children to get moving with their children and get off the couch and computers themselves.
That being said, I'm blogging while Babaloo is playing video games and we are waiting for our pizza to cook in the oven, so what do I know?
