Today, I drove through just to notice a "coming soon" sign that read Look for our new sandwiches...
I'm sorry...when did my "coffee house/shop" become a restaurant? When did my "Grab a drink and sit and listen to pretentious quasi jazz and stare at Taylor" become my "Fast food place to grab a sandwich and chips (which I am sure will come later)"
I am not sure I care for this at all.

I saw "models" of the sandwiches last weekend and they looked rather disgusting. They need to stick to the coffee.
In fact, I believe they've tried this before at select Starbucks... and stopped. I don't know why they would try it again--or maybe it's just making it's way through various areas to test it out and will be gone again if it doesn't take off...
I agree with you, though. Starbucks needs to stay pure.
