Can a fellow podcaster (Melanie? Ricky? Michael if he's up and running yet?) who uses multiple tracks when recording a podcast (or a musician who uses Garageband) tell me how to choose multiple tracks for editing (for example, cutting out silence when no one is talking, or when one podcaster is "um" or "err"ing) I would hate to think I have to go through a show, listen to it once to clean up where people are talking to one another, then go through it and listen to it again to clear out the silences where no one is talking. All I seem to be able to do is edit silence out one track at a time, and, well, no thank you.
If I can get this figured out, kids, look for better podcasts really soon!
Going to bed defeated...cue poopy music.

Taylor, I'm going to start experimenting with this today -- as soon as I know, you'll know.
Oh, and if you ever want to play music over Skype on a Mac, there's a killer app called Wiretap Anywhere from Ambrosia Software that works PERFECTLY. Kudos to the Sound Nazi and Tim Corrimal for tipping me off to it.
