Ok, So Taylor's Thought For The Day (That is Sure to Piss Some People Off)

Is it wrong that I was more excited about finally getting a Wii than playing a Wii?
We do have it hooked up to the Wi-Fi, though - I'll be posting my Wii number (or whatever it's called) so that I can exchange my official Taylor and Babaloo Miis with all of you real soon.

I can't remember where, but I heard a theory (NPR Marketplace?) that we consume so much because we get so much more of a thrill in the process of obtaining a product rather than having it. That's why so many people have so much crap yet never use it.
