Ok, So Well, DUH!!!

From Reality Blurred.com:

So You Think You Can Dance 5 will air next summer, as Fox has renewed its top-rated summer series. The show’s two episodes are in the top five among viewers 18 to 49, making the renewal unsurprising.
In a press release, which notes those ratings, Fox executive Mike Darnell said, “We’re delighted to have DANCE back for
a fifth season next year. FOX is very lucky to have television’s preeminent performance competitions in AMERICAN IDOL and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, and it’s no coincidence that creator and executive producer Simon Fuller and executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe have been a part of both these successes.”

The fourth season concludes this week with two-hour episodes on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Yay! I have TV to watch next summer.
In other, more depressing news, I was informed that Babaloo is an Americal Idol fan, and I will be expected to drink the Kool-Aid next January when the show comes back on. I've managed to avoid this show for 7 years.....but he did start watching Dance with me, so I guess fair's fair....

Is it wrong that I kinda want Courtney to win it all, even though I know she doesn't have a shot in hell?

idol is a great show with very charismatic judges.. yes, the judges make the show, not the format or the contestants.. if you have avoided it for 7 years i feel sorry for you. you missed out on something. dancing however is a very boring show, its basically just an idol clone with nigel being the simon wannabe and mary the paula wannabe

theres more talent in dancing than singing though. there are some pretty voices but dancing is an art, a movement, a flow. anyone can sing, granite not well, but not everyone can dance. this is the first year so you think you can dance. i'm very sad i've missed the past years. but idol yeah i watched two years and it got old. good luck with that taylor!!

Idol is really gonna have to step it up this season to keep people interested. The early episodes with the bad singers is getting boring, especially as it dragggggggggggggggggggggggssssssss out to 3 weeks. But, once the performance rounds kick in, the show gets interesting.

I heart Courtney! She has been amazing in everything she's done. I don't even remember her getting so much as one really bad review. The problem is Twitch has the fans and Katee is still on the stage, so I doubt she'll survive.
