Ok, So Let's Get The Bad Taste Of the Previous Post Out Of Our Mouths....
This made me tear up a bit......I felt like he's talking to me like he used to when I was a kid watching him.....What do you mean he wasn't talk to me through the TV? You don't know!!! You don't know!!!
I miss him, too, Holly. I watched it again tonight and actually cried this time. Talk about the definition of a soothing soul.... I remember the year he died they showed his picture during the In Memoriam section of the Emmys. I thought Drum was going to have to talk me off the ledge.....
Lola and I share a love of Mr. Rogers. While every one I knew made fun of him, I secretly knew they all ran home and watched after school, Just like I did. Latch-key kids of the world always had at least one parent home everyday after school... Mr. Rogers.
And after watching this last night I googled him to see how long ago he died. Did you know those bastards at the Westboro church picketed his funeral!?!?! It made my blood boil! How very dare they!

I miss him. When I was a little girl I think he was the only one who liked me just the way I was.

Fred Rogers was a bodhisattva, no doubt about it -- bless him, wherever he is now, for liking me just the way I was.
