So, I get an email from event.com today at BT is coming to St. Pete, playing a club called Czar on Friday night.Now for those of you not in the know, BT is a dj/remixer/techno/house artist who is probably best known for producing the song Dirty Pop by 'N Sync. Rodan actually is the one who turned me on to him back when we were roommates lo those many years ago.
Now, do I want to go to this? One the one hand, it would be fun and something different. On the other hand, I hate going to clubs anymore. As I've become older, I have a harder time hearing when people talk, and there is always the chance that I will be the oldest guy in the place. Of course, it could also be a bunch of guys and girls in their mid 30s dancing with glow sticks (to quote Taffy before she gets a chance to say it.) and that would make for a story for the podcast.
Plus have any of our listeners ever been to this place? It's on 70th Ave North, like around 14th Street. Isn't that like a Community Center or something?
