Ok so...I have a "New" attitude

Ok...so (as heard on a previous podcast) I take issue with certain kinds of shoes...namely Tennis shoes, athletic shoes, or any other kind of sport type shoe. I have managed for the last decade and a half of my life to avoid wearing or even owning a pair.  The last time was when I was pregnant in 1991 and I wore my old cheer shoes from my freshman summer job at University of Kentucky.
Anyway's...
I bought a pair Monday.
It took me until today to have the balls to put them on.
And I kept them on for about a minute and a half...
Until...

My daughters challenged me to a Cart wheel-a-thon in the back yard. Really...REALLY?!?!??!
Not on the trampoline...on the GROUND!
So I (reluctantly) went inside and put them back on...

And proceeded to do not one...not two... but FIVE whole cart wheels!!!
(Don't act like your not impressed)
They beat my ass of course, but the shoes stayed on. And I hate to admit this...but they are kinda comfortable...sorta...

Well, we've lost Taffy. Now she's going to be one of those moms who wear her tennis shoes everywhere. My mother is like that, and I can't bring myself to tell her that it may be comfortable, but it looks sloppy. Go easy on them, Taffy.

Please let me ASSURE you, that should not be a concern... Now or ever!

I would have loved to see some video of that!

As I have no arches to mention and crappy knees, gymshoes with great support are my favorite footwear. Then again, I'm not a mom so I don't have to worry about embarrassing my kids with my footwear choices.

As a mom - I think that embarassing them in any way possible is a lofty goal of mine (and a perk as well). Bring on the tennies!
