That pretty much describes me todat at Support. We went bowling at Twedt's lanes by the Largo Mall. The building has been a bowling alley since 1950, and let's just say it shows. Anywho, as we were walking in, one of my coworkers, Kelly, asked me what her bowling name could be. I recommended Trixie. When word got out that I had baptized her as a bowler, everyone else wanted bowling names. So, I came up with the following.Trixie
Midge
Flo
Schwartz
Kitty
Betty Lou
Betty Lou
Fanny
Wanda Jean
Al
and my name?
Rusty.
So, having a very good time and asking Flo (my supervisor) at one point, "Is that ball heavy, Flo?" multiple times til she got it, I took it upon myself to keep things moving along. So, When one of the players wasn't paying attention, I was call to them like the vittles were done and I was callin the kin to supper. I would yell things like, "Trix-EEEEEEEEE?!?" One of the coworkers said I sounded like Auntie Em callin for Dorothy before the twister. I was all twirly and having a good time - a nice way to spend an afternoon with people I genuninely like very much. Then, to make things worse, after bowling, I had 45 minutes to kill before my next appointment, so I convinced a bunch of us to go to Starbucks, so now I was twirly AND caffeinated. Not good.
I did manage to keep it together for my appointment, but just barely. The family? Kinda....well, to quote miss Lola Lafayette, "Not Strong."
I've been home for an an hour now, listening to podcasts and eating the last of the chicken bog I made on Sunday. :(. I'm sure I will check in later. Oh, and PS - When I typed in "Rusty Jones" to google searches, thinking I would find a picture of the automotive protectant icon of the 1970's, I instead found this picture.
