Well, the cold front has FINALLY hit Florida. The temp last night was in the FORTIES in St. Petersburg. While walking the dogs, I could actually see my breath. It was invogorating, and I loved it. The dogs? Not so much. The temp has warmed up some, and by Thanksgiving, should be back up to almost 80. Boo.I am on call (again) this weekend, and have already had 2 visits this morning. I was on call last 
week, and had 2 visits then, so I am already looking at bringing in another couple hundred dollars, which my credit cards are going to be thankful for. (Or are they? I mean, if I pay them off, then they don't get all that lovely interest...) Anywho, my first visit of the day was in a home in the Old NE part of town. Lovely house, lovely family, and it was at 7:15am, so I got a full night's sleep before it, which is always...well, lovely. (The puggies were not too happy with the idea of getting up so early on such a cold morning, so after going outside while I threw on some clothes to go to this visit, I put them back on the bed and threw the blanket over them, where it appears they stayed til I got back. I was able to enjoy drinking a hot Pumpkin Spice Latte from the Buck of Star after attending the death...something that only seems to be really good when it's cold out.

Upon getting home, I watched last week's episode of ER, entitled "Blackout." It was a damn good hour of television, especially for 9am on a Saturday. I was not a big fan of Maura Tierney's character when she first came on the show, but I really like her now - well developed, well, rounded. I haven't seen this Thursday's episode yet, but I am looking forward to it.Finally, while spending time with the Taffy Carlisle Huffington yesterday (where a story was created for all our podcast fans....Look for it on the next episode), I was perusing her new People Magazine where my husband Matt was voted the sexiest man alive. Along with numerous other "DUH!" votes. ("Denzel? REALLY!?!? Clooney? You gotta be kidding me!!! BRAD PITT!?!? Who woulda thought......") There is a section on sexy men with scars. Anyway, Bradley Cooper is one of them, and I am putting him in the ring for consideration for "Cute Boys Of The Podcast." Taffy may know him from two of her favorite things in the world, Nip/Tuck and Wedding Crashers. He has great blue eyes, looks good with stubble and a mischevious smile. In short, I'd blow him. So what do you say? Does BC here get your CGotP vote?
