From The AP:NEW YORK - Paige Davis is moving back to TLC's "Trading Spaces." The Broadway actress and TV host will return to the once-popular home makeover series beginning in January, the network said in a statement Thursday. In 2005, TLC announced Davis would no longer host "Trading Spaces" and transitioned the series to a host-less format.
Um, really? Now, don't get me wrong, I used to love me some Trading Spaces. And while I liked the original host (whose name totally escapes me,) I learned to love the Paige, but I stopped watching BEFORE she was fired. The show just got too predictable, and it looked like more and more people were getting on with the intention of "hating" their rooms even if they loved them.
That being said, I'm sure I'll watch this. Because, you know, I'm a dork.

I am so glad that Paige Davis is coming back to Trading Spaces! I really missed the spunk host! Thank you for giving me the "heads up" about this.
By the way, Alex McCloud was the original host.
I managed to make it about two episodes after Paige got fired before I stopped watching completely. I wrote to TLC that I hated the new format of the show but I guess they didn't care... until now. I'll probably try to watch the show again, but like you said, too little too late.
awe...it is nice to see that Paige is vindicated in that whole mess...
but really...it is a bit too little too late.
Does this mean we can all jump in the time machine for 4 yrs?
