Our Ms. Suzanne Somers will be 61 on 10/16. And she is a full-on Monet!!!
I believe that birthday also belongs to someone we know and love...
...and Rodan...don't switch teams!!! We need all of our players...
Hey guys,
This is Eric of Confessions of a Southern Boy In Yankee Land.
I'm just starting to listen to the show but I saw a comment at Itunes that mentions something about one of you being in Monroe...would that be Louisiana? Because that's where I am from and that's just a wee bit freaky!
Um, hello marching band! I totally know what Taffy is talking about, I was in marching band in high school for 4 years, and I miss it a LOT. I have some marching band music from some drum and bugle corps around the country, mostly the Phantom Regiment, and I get goosebumps when I listen to it. My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy lol. When I listen to a lot of music I will do the whole "imagine what formations would look cool with this music" thing, both with the band and guard.
Yes.
I am a geek.
Ok Luke...Now we have to talk...You don't understand that Corp is like porn to me... I marched Phantom in 1988 I was part of the first year that they did Phantom of the Opera. Where we made the Drum Major dissapear and there was just the mask on the chair. If you have never heard this year, you must!!! I was part of visuals (as I played woodwinds in HS and in college) so Phantom is home to me. I also marched Suncoast sound in 89 and did part of a summer run with Spirit of Atlanta...
OMG Drum Corp, I feel that I can now come "out of the closet"(again)
I love band music, I thought I was the only one. Now, maybe Taffy can make it cool again.
The band camp story, NICE!
Band Geeks.
