Ok, So...WHAT!?!?

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Debra Messing is renewing her vows as "The Starter Wife."
After scoring an Emmy nomination for playing a Hollywood divorcee in USA Network's successful summer miniseries, the former "Will & Grace" star will reprise her role in a series being developed by the cable channel.

USA has ordered 10 episodes of "The Starter Wife," with the premiere date yet to be determined. The project is based on the novel by Gigi Levangie Grazer, soon-to-be ex-wife of producer Brian Grazer.

In the miniseries, Messing played Molly Kagan, a woman who is redefining herself after getting divorced from a Hollywood studio head. The series will focus on Molly's postdivorce adventures as she begins a new chapter in her life.

"Starter" averaged a hefty 5.4 million viewers in its premiere. It was nominated for 10 Emmys, including a nod for best miniseries and writing nominations for Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott, who are also set to return.
