The new iPod, now called iPod Touch, was announced today, and is expected to be released to the masses by the end of the month. It looks like an iPhone, but does not have the phone capabilities. It DOES, however, have wi-fi, and is able to connect with wi-fi at all Starbucks in the country. The 8GB is $299.00, the 16GB is $399.00.16 GB for 400 bucks? Really? I mean, don't get
me wrong - it's a cool toy and all, but right now I don't think that it is the one for me....The new iPod Nano with a bigger screen that now supports video...now THAT'S pretty cool - and you can get a 4GB for about 150 bucks...and in pretty colors, too. Still, I have a 60 GB ipod and a little iPod Shuffle, so for now I think I'm good.....I think....I don't know.....
WAIT - HOLD UP! Just went to the Apple website to get a picture of the new Nanos, and I see that they now have iPod Classics that are now EIGHTY and ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY GBS, and the classic white option has gone away and now you can choose from black and brushed aluminum......oooooooooh........prreeeeeettyyyyyyI totally should be doing research for a client right now...be back later....

I have a 30 gig and I haven't filled up half. i will wait until they get all the bugs out and the prices go down. but its sooooo tempting!
What really sucks is how little memory the iPod Touch has for memory...only up to 16gb
Does it make me shallow that I want a new iPod because it comes in brushed aluminum? What a shiny, pretty toy! Ok, I don't need one...but when does "need" ever matter?
