I went down to the Ouachita animal shelter...and I couldn't make a decision between 2 puppies who were rooming together...

Or worse...should I get both or neither. Both have been at the pound for 3 weeks and don't have much longer before they could be put down. (Yes...this is animal control, not the humane society)

Besides, you work a lot, and they would keep each other company. I am speaking from current experience...I think Hershey is depressed because I leave him alone so much...

They are used to being together. Get both. You can handle it.
Rodan...I love your voice and I can only imagine the stories you will have to share. NOT to mention the fluctuations I can already hear.
On the other hand...as "Drum" pointed out...you work alot. They will keep each other company. You have to think though about how long they are going to be kept inside while you are out working. If you work from home...not an issue.
It is not fair for them to be left inside all day and not be able to use the restroom. Just a thought. Otherwise...you've got all the love to give...give it to both. They'll give back just as much if not more.
