Ok, so...THE MOST WATCHED PROGRAM...EVER!

On the Last podcast, I briefly talked about our daughters schools obsession with this movie...Turns out they aren't the only ones.

Disney’s Friday night premiere of High School Musical 2 broke new records on cable television, according to the Nielsen ratings.
17.2 million people tuned in to watch Zac Efron and company. That’s almost 70% more than tuned in for the series finale of The Sopranos earlier this year.
High School Musical 2’s TV debut was:

- The most-watched basic cable television program of all time. (ummm, Nip/Tuck, Trading Spaces,Entourage,Soprano's, anything on HBO)

- The most-watched basic cable movie of all time. (Take that "Twisted Desire and My Stepson/My Lover")

- The highest-rated television program ever for children age 6 to 11. (Screw you Big Bird)

- The most-viewed Friday television telecast, cable or broadcast, in the past five years.
Wow.

Because we're all in this together... (that was for Taylor)
