The second night of my journaliing group went even better than the first. The members of the group are doing really well and getting along and supporting one another. I'm really glad we were able to offer the group. The sad thing is that two of the three girls will not be able to make the fourth group, so we may end up having a three week thing going on rather than a four week group (Support groups are usually offered for 6 weeks, but this is more a pilot group, so it is kinda a mini version.)Anywho, I promised a question from the group for all of you to have fun with, and this one is a doozy. Tonight we talked about the use of poetry as a way to express ourselves. I thought it would be easy to start out with a haiku. Rather than get into the deep stuff, I thought we should all try something funny first, and put it to the group to yell something out. One of the girls said, "A dog peeing on flowers."
Here is mine:
Bright Yellow Tulips
Rocco Lifts His Furry Leg Up
He Is Now Empty
From there we went into writing about our loved ones who had died. I talked about my grandfather, who died when I was 13. here is my Haiku about him.
Many Musty Books
Pop Pop Loved The Library
I Would Go With Him
So, write us a Haiku about the peeing dog! First line is 5 syllables, second line is 7, and the third is 5 again! C'mon you can do it!

The Rain makes her scared
Stay in pee pee stay in please
Rain has stopped, let's go
Smelled like peppermint
Never told me not to try
Miss him every day
All day in his room.
Buddy Lowe is one old dog.
But he'll hold it long.
Loves the little shoes.
Praise God he is still around.
