Ok so...HELL Mart

Okay...so...I thought I would tackle Walmart today.

Big mistake...no carts in the lobby...so I decided I'll limp around and just carry anything that I may want to buy. Couldn't be much. No big deal. Walmart isn't evil.

So I'm walking around...trying to ensure that the displacement of weight on my foot is evenly dispursed. I noticed that when I'm not thinking about it I'm placing all my weight on my heal, which could lead to stress fractur...WHAM! some lady comes out of nowhere and hits me with her cart. Not looking, didn't apologize, didn't even flinch...where the %&@# am I? But...I wasn't paying attention either. (But I did apologize - not that she heard me)

Then as I'm walking around...I find the primary item I'm looking for...a cheap microwave. BUT it is only $.50 cheaper than the one at Target...and the one at Target is digital with a rotating plate. But...I'm not gonna leave this damn store with nothing...so I try to find said microwave. Top shelf....about 12 ft about my head. Fuck it. It was cheaper at Target anyway.

Then I see a toaster...which I need...and it's only $6.42...wow..cool. Maybe making chinese labor work for $0.01 a day isn't so bad when I'm broke. God Damn it...not a single super cheap toaster in this un-organized pile of crap. Empty boxes, damaged toasters, an open cereal box? You are kidding me. Screw this. I'm gonna limp my sorry ass over to Target where at least they pay their labor in China $0.02 a day...which is DOUBLE what Walmart pays. Those bastards.

Damn China..taking jobs that should rightly be in the US of A..where paying someone $9 an hour to put the filament in the toaster will bring the price of a toaster up to..what...$120?

Nevermind...China...you go! Take the $0.02 a day.

So while I was driving home from Walmart...I was stewing about how Walmart must be the 10th circle of hell...which started me thinking about hell...which started me thinking about Robot Hell...which then forced me to go look up this clip from Futurama...




Now I'm off to burn more natural resources to get me a cheap ass toaster and microwave from Target! I blame Walmart for ruining our environment by forcing me to drive to Target all the time.
