Ok so...The weather is currently storming...which we here in fla.should really be used to in the summer...however, my yellow lab is scared to DEATH of thunder. She becomes an 80 lb. lap dog...and not in a good way. I feel so bad for her and she gets this pitiful, little look on her face that is so tragic. We have to take her into the darkest quietest room in the house just to get her to sit and try to chill.
Anyone else have this problem??

I have a 200 pound Great Dane that is the exact same way. He's a big protective dog until it thunders or there are fireworks. I also had a black lab that was the same way. We never understood why.
