I was an actor at the Brigantine Castle in 1979. I performed most of the well-known characters including Dracula, Jack the Ripper, Rat Professor and the Butcher. My least favorite thing to do was getting into the ape suit, with Dracula a close second. I always preferred to be a roving character, free to improvise all day except when relieving someone during their break. My favorite thing to do was the Spanish Inquisition from Monty Python. We did it in the Great Plaza area, and all the guests usually got a big kick out of it.
