Ok, So Au Revior, Tony....Adeiu, Carrie....See Ya, Nate and David and Claire...

So, in a fleeting moment of being responsible yesterday, I cancelled my premium movie channels - HBO, Showtime, Starz and Skinemax. It's a way to save a little money and get those pesky credit cards paid down a little faster. I would have gone to basic cable, but then I would have to give up my DVR, and, well, I'm not a complete fool. This transaction ended up saving me about 350 dollars a year. Yay me.

HBO looked to have a lot of interesting new shows coming on to try and fill the void that Sopranos leaves, but I figure that, like everything on TV anymore, if it's any good, they'll put it out on DVD, and then I can watch it.

Now wait and see, now that I have cancelled it, they announce that the Sopranos AND Sex in The City AND Six Feet Under are all coming back to TV. Next Week. Or something ridiculous like that.

Drum seemed saddened by this. We still have Encore, and I caught Drum watching "BeWitched" with Nicole Kidman and Wil Ferrell last night on one of the channels last night. Of course, he was smart enough to walk away after a half hour, whereas I sat and watched it til the end. Who's the bigger fool?
