So, in a fleeting moment of being responsible yesterday, I cancelled my premium movie channels - HBO, Showtime, Starz and Skinemax. It's a way to save a little money and get those pesky credit cards paid down a little faster. I would have gone to basic cable, but then I would have to give up my DVR, and, well, I'm not a complete fool. This transaction ended up saving me about 350 dollars a year. Yay me.HBO looked to have a lot of interesting new shows coming on to try and fill the void that Sopranos leaves, but I figure that, like everything on TV anymore, if it's any good, they'll put it out on DVD, and then I can watch it.

We still have Encore, and I caught Drum watching "BeWitched" with Nicole Kidman and Wil Ferrell last night on one of the channels last night. Of course, he was smart enough to walk away after a half hour, whereas I sat and watched it til the end. Who's the bigger fool?
