Ok, so today....

As many of you know, I work with children who have experienced the loss of a loved one, and part of my job is to go into schools and see some of the kids there. I have 14-16 schools I go to an see children regularly, either individually or, if there is enough of them, as a support group, where we do lots of fun things and give them a chance to talk about their feelings. Some of my schools are great - great staff, always have a room for me to meet with the kids privately. Other schoos smell like middle school boy armpit and Electric Youth perfume (1990 called, it wants it pop culture reference back...), and they put me in a closet with a kid. No, literally. A. Closet.

Well, today, for at least a couple of months, that all goes away, because, today, I did my last school visit of the 2006-07 school year.

Woo hoo!

And they passed a law that schools have to start on Aug 21 vs Aug 6th like they did this year. So I get a longer time away from schools.

Again, Woo hoo!

And, I am sitting in Starbucks (Sorry, Taff.), taking a small break from charting, where lo and behold, do my eyes decieve me? Do I see a....Orange Frappucino as they summer drink this year?

I'm not getting one however.....

today :)
