Well, things are going well here in So. Jersey (temp today is supposed to be 70 and rainy and gross). Mom is able to bathe by herself (thank GOD), and is getting dressed so that we can go do some birthday shopping for my sister. We have to go to Kohl's (and call ahead so she can have a wheelchair), and then we are going to Duffield's, which is a farmer's market that I used to pick strawberries at as a child (That sounded so....slave. "As a young negro child, my master would send me into the fields to pick scrawberries...."). My sister has said she wanted a cake from there for her birthday. Then we are off to Acme so that we can get to stuff to make dinner for tonight (My mom is making a roast). Come home, relax for a while, then head over to my sister's.
My mother has given me at least three stories for the podcast, unbeknownst to her. And Drum, I've gotten her to do the cry laugh already with one of them, so my job here in someways, is complete. :)
