Are you still here?

Ok, so I have to admit, I'm a little over the Perez Hilton. I, like many people, became addicted to him over a year ago, checking out all the horrible pics and nasty comments. But then something happened. It started to become a little more about him and less about the celebrities he is covering. The range in celebrities he talks about seems to be less and less, and even some of them are people no one in America seems to care about. (I mean, does anyone REALLY care about Pete Doherty? Jordan? Really?). And while I give him props for using a website to make a buck or two, I can't help but feel that some of the new artists he focuses on are not so much about how much he likes them, but more about how some PR person at a record company has figured out a way to get their artist some street cred and publicity. Plus, the whole white dots all over EVERY pic? Tired. And don't even get me started on the "If you are easily offended...." links. I had fallen for too many of those too many times, and no longer do so.
DO I look at Perez's website? Yes? Is it the first place I go when I sign on to my internets anymore? Not hardly. (Now I look to see if Taffy has posted here on PiMC, or if there are new comments....). He may have done it first, but he don't do it best no mo'.
Of course, the fact that I am posting about this shows just how bored I am on a Friday night.....HELP!!!!
