A step closer

Ok, so here is the official art (first draft) for the podcast. It will be part of the ID3 tag that goes along with the MP3 in iTunes. (aka the little picture that comes up on your screen.) It's not the greatest, I know, but it is something. Maybe when I work on it a little more it will be even cooler.

I was asked recently why I don't just put a pic of the hosts up for the ID3 tag. The reason is that we will not be saying exactly who we are just yet. All of us have jobs or responsibilities which may be challenged if it is known that for example, host x was talking about chips dips chains and whips on any given Wednesday. (No, this isn't an S&M show....). It will be more apparent what we are talking about once the podcast goes up. Plus the beauty of blogging/podcasts is in the way that you feel like you get to reach people with common interests ( Or interesting challenges) while staying in a protective bubble. We may stick our heads out of the proverbial foxhole down the line.

I downloaded a program last night where you can record VOIP conversation, but one of my other hosts did not download it yet, so I don't know if it will work or not. I'll have to wait for him today. If it does work, and the sound quality is good, we have a go. I was noticing I was having mic issues, so I may need to just bite the bullet and get a new microphone. We'll see. I also may be throwing a small solo show out there for practice. I'm warning you now, it won't. Be. Pretty.

before I do that, however, I need to get some things done around here. Going to throw another cute guy on the blog and then get some wash done!
