A return to my youth

Ok, so as a child, I loved comic books...Still love them in fact, and every week, I head to my favorite store, Emerald City Comics and blow a little money (Man, if I actually THOUGHT about how much I have spent in that place over the years...) Anyway, as I was saying, I love the comics. One of the books I loved as a kid was a book called "The Brave and The Bold." It was a team up book where Batman and a random character from the DC Universe would solve a crime together. Sometimes it was a big character, like Superman or Wonder Woman...other times, it was a lesser known character like the Creeper. Anyway, they were great books. The book eventually got cancelled, and was replaced with a team book called Batman and the Outsiders, which, after a few years, got cancelled, too.

Well, after many years, DC has decided to restart "The Brave and The Bold" with a new #1 next week. I am stoked, not only because I love the idea of the book, but the artist is none other than George Perez, who is only my all time favorite comic book artist. EVER! This is the cover to the New Brave and the Bold #1, drawn by Perez. Maybe I'll start posting the pics to the comics I buy every week or two, just because, you know I have a million other things I could/should be doing.
