So imagine this dear readers...
It's a typical Monday night, In November...which means I am trying recipes, getting ready for december...(plus this is a great way to relax after a day with the widow carlisle)
Any-hoo...Tonight's recipe... Peanut butter Cream cheese Pie.
(with an choc. graham cracker crust)
As I was prepping all the ingredients, I realized I did not have enough whipping cream...No problem, Tank and I will ride our bikes to Publix and be back in a flash...
So I left the shiny silver disposable pie plate...filled with my chocolate graham cracker crust on the stove to cool...
With a 85 lb dog in the house...unattended...
Imagine our surprise when we came home to this...
Not to worry, after a ten minute frantic phone call to our vet, at home no less, she promptly threw it up...

I am glad your pup is better. Chocolate is very dangerous. Two of our dogs were fed chocolate bars by our neighbor's children. They didn't know it was dangerous and after a night of well you know...our vet told us to put light corn syrup on their gums to help bring their blood sugar back up. I have never been so damn scared for our pets lives.
