So, started this book last night Dog Days: Dispatches From Bedlam Farm- and I really love it. I appreciate the fact that on the very first page of the book, Katz writes, "No dogs die in this book." Whew! However, the story of an old donkey being put down after having a stroke may have caused a few tears.Dead donkeys aside, Taffy, you will be given this book to read, if I think it's going to continue on the way it is. It feels very "my hometown is a village" to me. (Don't worry if you don't know what that means, listeners, she does.)
Is anyone else reading this book? Or any books by Jon Katz (which I think is funny considering he writes books about dogs.)
