Good News:

My new job has asked me to start early and travel for a leadership conference my first week. So my first week in Monroe, Louisiana will be spent in Mineapolis, Minnesota. I would be more excited if it weren't for my...

Bad News:

Went to the DR today...post op follow up to get my stitches out. Apparently, that cannot happen because there is a small portion of my wound that is still "oozing" (roughly 2 inches of my over 18 inches of stapled skin - think Frankenstein) What this means is that I have to wait another 6 days with my leg up in bed before I can have the staples removed. Which means that it is another week before I can get the cast and start living a relatively normal...albeit limping life.
