Ok, so I have a true affection for Sandra Bernhard. I'm not sure why, if it's her ability to put it out there, her unconventional beauty, her dry humor...I just think she's the bee's knees. Miss Sandra is coming to The State Theatre in St. Petersburg on July 29, and I (along with the gaggle of lesbian coworkers I told about it today) will be attending. I just bought my ticket not five minutes ago. And by the way, Ticketmaster blows. By the time you get the extra fees and shit out of the way, there is an extra 10 bucks added onto your price. I'm a poor social worker - that's a lunch for me, bitches!!!Anyway, I found this clip from a previous concert that Sandra taped and it made me laugh a couple of times. Please, enjoy.

I love Sandra. I used to have her entire "Without You I'm Nothing" memorized, word for word. It was through that album that I first heard of Andrea Marcovicci, who I later met and found out that every word Sandra said about her on the album was true. There's a pic of her (Andrea) and me on a recent post on my blog.
