Damn. Now I'm crying. Y'all are in my thoughts, pumpkins -- lots of hugs and love to all of you, and to Otis who is showing those heavenly trees just who's boss.
While the grieving is always terrible, try to take some solace in the great life you were able to share together. While I only know you as a lurker (me not you) the love and pride were always in your voice when you mentioned Otis.
While Otis may have crossed into the other realm his spirit will always be with you. Otis may you chase the bunnies (remember to catch and release) and like Melanie says....Show them trees in heaven who is boss.
My love to you, Taylor and Babaloo. There is nothing that I can say that will make you feel better. I know that you are hurting, but thank God you have each other. I'll give you a hug when I see you in a little more than a week. Just let me know where and when.
Isn't it amazing how they brighten our lives? We take them in thinking that we are providing them with a better life, when actually they are the ones who make our lives better. I am truly sorry for you loss and can only imagine that Otis is up there chasing bunnies with all of our beloved four-legged companions who have done their best to make us better people. Much love, Kris
Hey guys - Tim In Alaska here. I haven't looked at your web page in a while and I'm so saddened tonight as I type through the tears. My heart goes out to you. I've sometimes wondered what things would be like when it was my two 4-legged daughters time to move on to whatever comes next but I think now I know. Know you are in my heart and in my mind.
Blessings to your family as you mourn your furkid.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. I will keep you in my thoughts.
