Ok so,

I think that some where deep down in the small ressess of my heart, I love old T.V. news personalities. I loved Walter Cronkite as a child, I have talked about my obsession with Charlie Gibson before on the show...
However... I love Meet the Press.
 Only because of Tim Russert.
If you knew nothing about politics, he could explain it in a way that made you think you somehow got it. (remember the dry erase board in the Gore/Bush debacle)

I am so sad to hear that he passed away today of a heart attack at the age of 58.
Tim Russert
I hate most political commentators, because I don't like being lied to and I usually feel that way after listening to them (i.e.Fox News) Anywho... Makes me sad.

Tim Russert, who pointedly but politely questioned hundreds of the powerful and influential as moderator of NBC's "Meet the Press," died Friday of an apparent heart attack. The network's Washington bureau chief was 58.

  4. Gosh thats so sad. He was the one I actually like to watch when he appeared on one of the early morning shows. He just had this trust in his voice that you could count on, he made sense, and he actually cared. This is sad to me, I just went and asked my grandma if she heard, and she felt the same way that I do. He will be greatly missed and we, as a country, will have to rely on someone else, just hoping to get the real, true, caringness that he brought to the news.
