Ok, so McFly out...Simpson in...

The "Back to the Future" ride is heading into the past.
The Universal Studios Hollywood ride based on the movies with Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd is taking its final passengers Monday. (The ride which is also in Orlando will be closing in the spring of 2008).
The ride -- which debuted in 1993 -- is closing to make room for a new "Simpsons" attraction.
"Back to the Future -- The Ride" was the theme park's first high-tech thrill ride.
Passengers are strapped into a carriage modeled after the film's DeLorean time machine and ride in front of a film projected on a domed screen, which gives the illusion of flight.
The new "Simpsons" ride is scheduled to debut next year.

This is also the first ride that ever made me want to hurl up my lunch. Lola was such a support that day..."Don't touch me, just leave me alone"
