Ok, so let the bitchery begin....

Ok, so the Oscars were last night, and I made it up to Jennifer Hudson winning. Why I stayed up so late, I have no idea. I always like the "In Memoriam..." part where they play dramatic music and show all the people who died. I know, weird, huh? Well, anywho, I didn't get to see it, but I figure it will be on YouTube or something if I care that much. Which I don't. Anyway, a gay man he loves him some Oscar fashions....It's the Super Bowl of the 'Mo World. I must say, as a fan of bright colors, I was disappointed with most of the dresses...The muted colors were just....eh....I know that is what's in right now, but it made for a bland red carpet. Let's get down to it, shall we? I love Rachel Weisz, and the form of the dress is beautiful, but the color is bland and just sorta...ugh.. What do you call that color? Bone? Emily Blunt from the Devil Wears Prada looks very glam in her Shiny Blue. Very old school. Very Beautiful. I thought Helen Mirren's dress was boring, but then I saw the picture shown above and saw the pattern in the bottom of the skirt. It helps. So, She looked pretty hot for a woman of a certain age.

Everyone went on and on about Nicole Kidman's dress, and how beautiful it was. I don't get it at all. It's boring. Yeah, it's red and that's great, but the "perfect" eyebrows and the washed out red hair.....ew.....Abigial Bresyln looks very cute in her pink dress. Cute enough to eat, apparently, as that is what Nikki looks like she's about to do...gotta keep that life force hunger appeased somehow, huh, Nik? This dress would have been SOOOO Much better 1) in a darker color, 2) without the pooka shells, and 3) if someone else were wearing it. She's gross. I can see what she was trying to go for here, but it just kinda....failed.....I don't get it. That bow is way too big and she needs some color in her skin...way too pale....
...Unlike Cameron. This was one of my first opinion changers of the night. My first thought when I saw her on the red carpet was she looked like she was wearing a paper dress. Then when she walked out on stage to present an award, the way the dress flowed, it was really quite beautiful. I like the fact that she had a little color to her skin, and while I don't like the tussled look, I do like her hair color. Cate Blanchett! Talk about a body hugger. She looked amazing in this slinky chain mail looking thing, but when she presented the award, you could see she was having a hard time walking in it. So points off for that, I suppose....
Normally, I wouldn't post a picture of these two, but I have to say it....Who the hell does he think he's kidding with that hair? (and I don't mean the beard.....) Ass. And Giraffe? Really? Really?See, now this is what I am talking about. 1.) Color - there is some, and it is a brave color to wear - I don't know that I have seen a green dress this color at the oscars before. 2.) Skintone - she looks like she has some and it makes her look healthy. 3) The hair - it's big, but not too big. Celine looks very glamorous! This was one of my favorite dresses. Too bad about her eyes, though....
What he hell do you call this color? I can't look at her without thinking of a Kathy Griffin special a few years back....
One of the best dresses of the night! I love the color and the little black belt. Simple and Elegant. Too bad about the hair though - had she straightened it, perhaps, or got a short cut, she may have been just about flawless...My favorite dress of the show, the one I remembered the most...but not the best of the night....that will be the last dress I show...
Labelle called from 1977. They want their jacket back. Gitchy Gitchy gai ya ya ya. NEXT!
.....Bored. Next!
I like it. While it is a muted color, it is a strong mettalic, and it matches her eyes. The short haircut is great. Again, it's Hollywood, though...as in CALIFORNIA, as in get a tan.....otherwise, she look good!Worst Dressed. Well, would have been if not for.......We can always count on this poor bitch to make a fool of herself.....Another great dress. I love the use of color twoards the train and the wrap around style of the skirt. The hair looks great. She needs to eat, but she's still look pretty fine! Another opinion change about this one, because on the TV, this dress didn't look as purple as it does here. But it looks amazing. Well done, Reese!

However, my favorite dress of the night never made it to the Oscars. I saw it this morning on a website. It was at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. I know it's a gay cliche to pick this person, but when I saw the picture, I actually, "ooh!"ed, so I guess she wins......

It's Madonna! I love everything about this dress, Black always works, I love the straps, I love the hair(REALLY love the hair), I love the jewelry. She just looks ULTRA Glamorous in this. Is that cheating?

Ok, this post took me 45 minutes...I need to go eat something.....See you all later on!
